A PERSONAL APPROACH TO YOUR PRACTICE

You’re tired of cramped, impersonal yoga classes where you are one in a crowd. And you’re looking for a little more guidance to help you take your practice further. Maybe it’s because you‘re new to yoga and you’re looking for a judgement free space to learn the ropes. Or maybe you are looking for specific advice on how to challenge yourself by developing your arm balances and inversions.

Whatever level you are at, you’re always welcome at our Stanley yoga studio. We offer scheduled yoga classes, which are always limited to a maximum of five students. And we also offer private yoga classes, which can be conducted in the studio or in the convenience of your own home.

WHAT MAKES OUR YOGA CLASSES SO SPECIAL?

We teach carefully considered full body routines to open up stiff joints and tight muscles. We use our knowledge of anatomy, and our experience playing sports to design sequences that tackle your aches and pains.

We deliberately focus on small class sizes and private sessions to give you more attention, and to allow for modifications based on your body type and experience. Plus, because you aren’t packed in like sardines, there’ll be no more awkward mid-practice moments like bumping into your neighbour’s sweaty elbow.

We offer a variety of different styles of yoga. Choose from very sweaty vinyasa classes where you will feel the burn and get plenty of core work, to slower Hatha where we can get into the minutiae of each pose, to super gentle yin and restorative yoga classes where we relieve body and mind. We're also able to arrange prenatal yoga sessions with a specialist prenatal instructor affiliated with our studio.

MEET YOUR INSTRUCTOR

NIALL

I'm a Registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance (RYT-200). I was initially drawn to yoga as a way to relieve physical and mental stress after busy days in the office and hard training sessions. But it gradually became a bigger and bigger part of my life. Now that I am a yoga teacher, I want to share the benefits of yoga with you too. Whatever age, body type, level or mood you’re in, I will try to create a practice you find accessible but challenging, and fun but relaxing. So don’t worry about how bendy or ‘un-bendy’ you are. I am always willing to help.

Unlike a lot of other yoga studios in Hong Kong, we are located just off the beach in a quiet lane in Stanley. So if you live in the Southside of Hong Kong, and don’t feel like the long trip into town and back, come and visit us at your friendly neighbourhood yoga studio.
